Tool connector failed with exec(): 0509-036 can not load program

Issue : 

While upgrading SAP SUM tool or Upgrade tool gives error Tool connector failed with exec(): 0509-036 can not load program.

0509-120 An offset in the .loader section header is too large

Resolution:

Patches are uploaded on to aix server using FTP client. While uploading patches selected mode was Auto or ASCII. While uploading patches they need to be uploaded in Binary Mode. After uploading patches in binary mode restart the process.
